customer
It seems to be taking me forever to add each product ( which is a downloadable product ). I have to press upload from my desktop each time I want to add a product.I would rather just use my FTP program and do a massive upload of all my products.Any solutions??? averell
HiI've got exactly the same prob. Unfortunately the above linked wiki entry doesn't explain two important things:1. How to define the paths for de images (relatif, absolute, local disk?).2. To me it looks like there's not field to import the path for the downloadable product itselves. Is the import tought for products data only and the product itselfs must by assigned after, manually, one by one? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.ave

For the images, upload them to your server and then use an absolute path (http://www.etc.com/)This works as I have tried it myself2. I am still searching /hoping for the answer to this one myself - I am unable to see where or how you can upload, a downloadable file thru the Import function...... I am really hoping that someone here can assist as I have not found the answer yet... even changing the code will do (if i knew where to start)any help guys appreciated. U can create multiple physical products using the csv import and also upload the images for these items but i can not see any possible way nor find one in this forum to bulk upload the actual downloadable files...i was thinking it may be possible to hard code the csv import some way - i dont mind doing the work myself just looking for where to start.any help on this problem is appreciated... ChurchPath
Sorry everyone I have just posted on this subject and only now have just found this thread. It's such a long job uploading a 'downloadable product zip file' individually. We really do need to know how to include this in the Import CSV tool feature, otherwise for sites with downloadable products the Bulk Import Tool is almost not worth using - as you still have to go into each individual product and tick the box and upload the zip file. Please can someone from Prestashop advise?many thanks,ChurchPath.
