Problem in step 3

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I have tried to install prestashop all evening, but no luck. When I press "Verify now" it says "Database is connected", but when I press "next" it says "A Prestashop database already exists, please delete it or change the prefix." so I cant go to next step. When I delete the prefix or write for example "asdf_" I still get the same message. Can anyone tell me please what is the problem?

Database server name is localhost
Database name is prestashop
Login is root
There is nothing written for password..

I'll try to remove everything and then install again.
Operations I did was:
1. Installed "WampServer2.0f.exe"
2. Then went to "C:\wamp\www" and deleted the php file and copied there all contents of the "prestashop_1.1.zip"
3. Then run localhost in Mozilla.. and then stuck in the step three...
