beed
Perhaps a re-installation. I have tried your methods, and the advise of my host but no luck. I have set folder permissions to 0755 and files to 0644 as told to do so by my host. set permissions throughout to 0755 and 0777. removed the module named "importfast" which caused this 500 error. thankyou

beed
i do yes, however nothing is displayed in the error log as to the cause of the problem. Although when this happened yesterday it displayed a missing image in the modules folder from the selected module. this log is now not showing. SerjLeon
Hello, I have same problem with installing any of the product slider modules. Other new modules install without any problems. What my error log says after one module installation: [Thu Feb 09 15:46:06 2012] [error] [client x.x.x.124] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Tools::addJS() in /home/xxx/public_html/modules/cleancarroussel/cleancarroussel.php on line 271, referer: http://www.mysite.com/ Now what I see on line 271: 269 public function hookHeader($params) 270 { 271 Tools::addJS(($this->_path).'js/jquery.slider.min.js'); 272 Tools::addCSS(($this->_path).'cleancarroussel.css', 'all'); 273 } Hope you could help me, as I'm just a beginner.
