Afternoon everyone

Does anyone know if there exists any type of standard or system in which manufacturer Mmight publish Ttheir latest products or merchendise in a way that could (by means easy or not) be directly imported into a shopping system?..

for example, i sell games and its really frustrating to find out which games are coming out when and where and then source that information (pictures product desriptions and everything that goes with it). i was wondering today if manufactorers possibly already release their products in a marketing package in some way or in some agreed format, which with the right tool could be imported into a shop directly?

does anyone know of anything like this?.. for example also -- how a shop can export their products in an XML format, so that they can publish their product information to shop crawler sites? .. in the same way i'm wondering if manufactors publish their products in a way that shop could directly import them into their stores?

There are quite a few companies that have an online database of products and provide API tools that allow you to import that information from them.

It will require building a custom tool to import the items / fields you want.
