justdogwalking.com Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Hi Am trying to get past stage 3 in the installation - the database bit in Wamp on my home PC.I thougth I had created the database via phpadmin called prestashopHowever at stage 3 it cannot find the database and I am stuck.Can anyone point me to a really basic guide to getting this right.I am not a database/coder just a learning merchant.Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PrestaDesigner.com Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 If you have created the databse, you should add some privileges for it. So you will have to click on Privileges tab (within phpmyadmin), here click on Add a new User. You will be forwarded to another page. On this page add your desired username & password. Just under the username is a field called Host. On this field select Local (from the dropdown). The last step would be to scroll down on Global privileges and here click on "Check All".
