maars11
Hi Friends,I found that Prestashop is very frequently crashing in Internet Explorer 6 whereas it runs perfectly in FireFox.The crash mostly happens when you add some products to cart and then login to your account to confirm order. Are you too facing this problem? Please suggest any solution if possible.ThanksRegardsMaars

Dreamtheme
Internet Explorer 6? Really? who use it? it is stopped from support from MS. And btw 95% of users who use internet explorer 6 are from china. Internet explorer 6 is long abandoned by the developers. The remain users should do it too.

Dreamtheme
mate really, don't even bother with IE6. i will say it again. Even Microsoft BEGS his users to stop using IE. Check this Microsoft website - http://www.theie6countdown.com/default.aspxThe count down to stop using IE6. Only 11.4% in the world using IE6, and from them 70% are China, Korea, Thailand and such. In the western world is around 2-3%, and half of them are old servers, virtual test machines and such, so actual number is probably 1.5%, do you really care so much for this 1.5% of the world who don't even want to update Freely their web browsers? and i'm pretty sure that this people who actually use IE6 still, they don't buy online. As i told you, IE6 don't support many things that are used in Prestashop even out of the box. So just ignore IE6.
Dreamtheme
And btw i just did a test, i made a virtual XP machine "just right out of the box" with IE6 and i opened Prestashop demo at http://www.prestashop.com/demo/. And it is works just fine.So your problem is probably in the windows XP machine, or some addon in the IE. Try disable all the addons. But in any case. Ignore IE6
Asenar
Hi,since the 1.4 version, we don't make compatibility test with IE6, so some errors can happen .
