Problem editing HTML email templates

I'm having a problem editing the email templates. If I go to Tools - Translations - E-mail template translations - core translations I can edit the txt version of the email but when I click on the 'edit this mail template' to change the html template the html template disappears from view and I'm left with the txt version only.

Can any help please?

I'm having the very same problem! It appeared after moving my shop from one domain to other. Does anyone have a solution on this?

Edit the html files directly in the mail folder, I use CuteFTP Pro 8 and I can right click and choose edit.

For better editing use the unzipped folder on your computer and an html editor I use an older version Homesite that allows me to edit and preview the files then I upload the edited files to the mails folder.

tdr170, thanks a lot for the very quick solution. But I still can't understand what happened? the mail editor with html just disappears - but only in latvian language catalogue in my case, in other five languages (that I've tried after this issue) editor and html template works very well... Isn't this bug known to developers?
