Select payments module based on order total

Hi Everyone,

I done a few searches that have not turned up anything specific that I am looking for.

I need the ability to select which payment gateway will show up during check out based on the order total. As an example

If the order is below a certain value then display the credit card as well as the bank wire gateway, if its above a certain value, then only display the bank wire gateway.

Has something similar to this been created already? Can someone point me in the right direction of how to mayeb start programing this?
