Bluemoon08
I'm having the same problem. I cannot properly preview a page in Dreamweaver and also have WAMP set up as my personal server. The middle content shows in the preview but the header, sidebars and footer don't display in the preview.Any idea why? Obviously, it would be nice to preview the entire page. ....I suspect that it's because those sections are database-dependent and my database isn't properly set up on my personal server (computer).I set up DW to connect to the the database on my server (after successfully importing the database into the database). Now I have the following error message:HTTP Error Code 404 File Not Found.Possible reasons:1) There is no testing server running on the server machine. (That's not it.)2) The testing server specified for this site does not map to the http: //localhost/_mmServerScripts/MMHTTPBD.php URL. Verify that the URL Prefix maps to the root of the site.#2 seems to be the issue so I need to google this to see how to map this correctly.Anyone who has DW properly set up to view databases that can help ... please help.
