[Solved] Can't see my new theme

Hello,

I'm new, so I'm just starting to know Prestashop. I looked all over the internet to solve this problem, but somehow I haven't found the solution. And when I thought I found it, it didn't work for me.

This is my problem.

I downloaded the free template matrice. Unzipped it and moved the file to prestashop/themes using ftp-server. Then I went to my back office.
I can't see the the new template in appearence-theme, but when I go to "view my shop" something has changed. I'm totally confused. I then tried several times with Theme Installator. Still the same result.
Did I move the wrong file?

I unzipped the matrice_theme file. A "doc" file appeared and another zipfile named matrice. I also unzipped this file. I got a "Matrice" file. In this file were a "themes" file and a "modules" file and a xml-document.

I moved the "themes" file to my server and I tried to move the entire "matrice" file to my server. Nothing seems to work, I just can't see the new theme in my admin.

check the template matrice files, is there config.xml file? (for prestashop 1.4)
because these files are used to display the template name in the back office

I also have the same problem. Please, help anybody? I just cannot see any themes I thought I had installed with Theme Installator.

I tried to see my theme over and over again bij replacing and deleting the theme.
So in the end my files were so messy, I thought it's best to start all over again.

I now installed Prestashop locally using the tutorial of

to install Prestashop and my new theme.

This time I can see my theme. I don't know what I did wrong the first time, but it doesn't matter anymore. It now works like it should be.
