[Solved] Is Prestashop 1.4.1.0 really stable?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I installed and worked on PS 1.3.7 and 1.4.0.17 without any issues. However, I am having some issues with PS 1.4.1.0.
So far, I noticed that the module section from the Back office is messed up.
I installed PS 1.4.1.0 without any issues. However, when I disable "Featured Products on the homepage" or "Permanent links block" mudule the rest of the modules become disable as well, and the "Front Office Features" tab display 18 modules instead of 34 modules.

I tested PS 1.4.1.0 on a different computer, still the same case. I don't see what I am doing wrong.

Is there anyone else who has tested PS 1.4.1.0? Or having the same problem?

My local server is XAMPP (latest version) and I have not changed any files from PS 1.4.1.0.

Maybe it is not the PrestaShop issue.
Maybe you just missed some changes in PrestaShop.
There is a search box and also a few filtering criteria drop down list.
I guess what you see is the filtered out list of modules., not the all modules.

there are different scenario that you can not see the module.
I have summarized them in my blog. please check here for more information

1.4.1.0 is very stable, and allot better then 1.3.7. There are several glitches and bugs but they are minor and overall it is pretty much stable. About modules, from fresh installation you can do reset filter to see them all sometimes it get buggy.

This is what happened:

Image 1 & 2: everything looks normal. this is a fresh PS (in french version).

Image 3 & 4: after I disabled the "homefeatured" module or any modules from that list, everything becomes with a Red Cross. and the module tab displays 18 modules instead of 34.

Anyway, This issue has been solved by Reseting the Filter.

Thank You Guys, I followed your advice :-)
