[PS 1.3.6.0] Protect a category page from non 18+ guests

Hello!

I would to protect a category page (and relative product pages) to visitors that aren't 18+.

For example, entering the category i would display a page with a date of birth request.

Is it possible?

probably, if you want to alienate your visitors and limit your conversions. You 18+ visitors will hate this, and you will see a high drop off rate. The under 18,s, well, they'll just lie to see whats behind there.

Rather than working out how you'd do it, i'd be working out is it reallly necessary, and do you want to limit yourself and your visitors.

I see. I agree with you, but for the italian law i've to protect (so, for example, just showing a message to enter or not) in this kind of section.
