Plindstrup
Hi,I have a problem, or two actully, with translation of mails!Even though I have translated everthing thought the Admin panel, many of the mails, that are sent to the customer, are in English (and not danish, though the lang is set to danish, and everything is translated).I have read that this i due to the fact, that not all lines are in the lang file in mails/lang/da. And the solution is to transfer the lang file from mails/lang/enWell :-) When I try to do that, through FTP or filemanager in Plesk, T get a permission error. I can't overwrite or delete the file.I can't delete the file through SSH - I don't have access to that.So I guess I could transfer the lang pack through the admin panel in Presta. But, how do I do that? And, as far as I know, it would mean that EVERY SINGLE translation I have made for the DA will be lost and "reset"?I have spent a lot of time, translating to danish. The danish lang pack I installed originally, through the Presta Admin Panel, was not good enough to me - so I edited almost every bit in that.So :-)Please, tell me how I can make the translations of the subject of mails work, without having to translate all over again... otakarw
Regarding that FTP problem, it is probably a misconfiguration of server or improper configuration for customers becasue apparently files created by apache server are not writable by ftp daemon (when you install language in backo office new files are loaded and stored in filesystem) Just ask your hosting provider to solve this stupid improper configuration. (Probably you cannot change chmod either) You wont be able to clean up your root becasue ftp is not in the same group as apache and you have restricted acces to your files
Plindstrup
Problem solved!I did not want to wait for my hostingprovider to fix it, nor did I want to risk anything going wrong. So i took a complete backup of my entire website (EVERYTHING) and the database. Then I deleted my entire website from Plesk :-)I created it again. And uplaodet all my backed up files and database. Now I can move foreward :-) Took my only 20 min, compared to like 24 hours from helpdesk at my hostingprovider.
