[Solved] paypal module problems

i recently had to restore a backup version of my site and now my paypal api module, which worked before, doesn't seem to work.


i'm using prestashop v 1.2 and have tried integrating paypal module v 1.6 and paypal api module v 1.0 but am having problems with both.

with paypal v1.6, i am able to checkout with paypal and receive an email from paypal that a payment has been made. but there is no record of the order in the back office.

with paypal api v1.0, i am unable to even access paypal and keep getting a server error page.

if anyone can offer any help, it would be great. thank you.
