Bill Dalton
I just want to try it on a local Windows machine. Is there not a download that I can install for version 1.0.0 ?
Knowband Plugins
1. Install node.js 2. Run "npm install" in the cmd to install the dependencies. 3. then run "npm run build". It should run the build command i.e. webpack --progress --mode=production autotically. Download the zip from the GIT and execute these command of the root folder of the downlaoded code. Note: The above commands are based on knowledge. Not tested the same at my end. Expand You can download the 0.2.0 version but not the 1.0.0 https://github.com/PrestaShop/hummingbird/releases/download/v0.2.0/hummingbird.zip I have this installed on my site, with a few modifications. So far it's been fine and not come into any problems. Ive changed the product list grid to a grid display instead of flex as I think its much easier. Just takes 1 line of css and no media queries needed You can see what its like at my site https://www.northwestecigs.uk/10-vape-kits
Bill Dalton
Ray, thank you for your response. Yes, I also have 0.2.0 version installed on a development machine. I guess I'll not get to try out the new version. That's too bad.

The only thing is, it took a long time to update to 1.0.0 from 0.2.0, so we may get to try in 2032

But at least, you don't need to wait so much time, ps9 will arrive soon (in Spring maybe)
Bill Dalton
@yama Thanks for that. I just looked at PrestaShop 9.0 Beta, but it still uses Hummingbird 0.2.0. Hopefully, that will change with the full release.
Bill Dalton
It's funny; a new version is available, and they don't make it easy to try; it isn't with the PS 9 Beta. Oh well. I guess feedback isn't of interest.
yama
I don't understand why you are so negative. beta version is not a new version for production, it is a new version for developer. I guess developer can compile a source code zip, right? all sources are available on Github (PS 9.0 beta and Hummingbird 1.0 "beta")
Bill Dalton
Yes, I would think so. Thank you for your obvious intelligence. Of course, it doesn't help me, but we both know you didn't post to help me.
yama
So I post for what, dear Global Moderator? Don't search problem where there is not problem. Seems not your job in this forum. I just tell you, you have to compile the source code of the beta of 1.0 or wait the production version of PS 9.0 where the template will be included in addition of classic one.
