prestashop 1.4 module blockpermanentlinks problem-I cant add link

I have one problem-
I was trying to change horizontal(Sitemap,contact,add to favourite)
I changed modules/blockpermanentlinks/blockpermanentlinks-header.tpl
but nothing happend if I changed something..
So I changed what I needed and clicked in BO prestashop/modules on RESET in this module.

And what happened?
Nothing what I wanted.

BUT It moved this three buttons(sitemap,contact,add to favourite) more down(near site logo) (using default prestashop template) and moved up Login link

I restore my backup with whole folder blockpermanentlinks/
but it havent any effect !!

What did this RESET button from BO/modules do???
How can I change it back?

I should reset also User login module and now it is again in previous condition.

But could you please write me how can I add some new icon+link to this horizontal menu???

If I change original code and add my own url+image icon it havent any effect ...

no stress! we ve all been there ... u need to configure ur prestashop so:

Go to Preferences >> Performance and then look at Smarty section this is what u should put:

Force Compile: YES
Cache: NO
