categories not shown in backend

Hi,

in my backend of prestashop 1.4.1.0, the main categories are not shown (only a dash -), an I can't assign new poducts to that categoies.
How can I fix it?

Same problem here. (brand new instalation 1.4.1.0 glamour theme)
I create new categories and it shows on front, but in admin backend, categories tab, only shows -- as name and description. When try to add a product this new category are not listed in categories drop-down menu and not listed in categories tree.
