optionsmegastore
Hello, i have a bad history with bing, before i was deindexed and then they reindexed me again, however, now it's a totally different story, my website was deindexed, though, i cant find ANY error, or problem from my website. i contacted them and they sent me this, After further review, it appears that your site did not meet the standards set by Bing the last time it was crawled.though iw as ranking on first page on all queires for bing. however, i did a sitescan in bing webmaster tools and found out of 1000 pages scan, 298 errors. and these errors are "weird" because they represent "blocked by robots.txt" and these pages are prestashop's revelance in category's page, to select by name, or by price high to low, or low to high etc, can tell an example . example.com/76-business-laptops?order=product.name.desc Or example.com/12_microsoft?order=product.reference.desc . however, i dont have such problem with google. please if anyone knows what s the problem and if it is a prestashop problem, or bing or how to even solve it. i even attached a file to be clear thank you
@diegofrancesco
Hello, have you already checked all the possible reasons for the block? Read this article (url to the official Bing guide): https://www.bing.com/webmasters/help/why-is-my-site-not-in-the-index-2141dfab Check if the product url without parameters is indexed. The priority should be to index the product or category page, without user-customizable parameters. i.e. e.com/64_yamaha not e.com/64_yamaha?order=product.sales.desc
optionsmegastore
hello, i ve checked ALL possible reasons, and i am telling you. i did a SITESCAN through BING for 1000 pages and the results returned with ONLY these type of errors. anything else is fine, even when i try to scan a live url, it returns without any error, my question was simple, WHY BING is seeing the urge to crawl these relevance while google doesnt? these relevance of, set category product by price high to low or low to high, or even by name etc.
optionsmegastore
please find attached my site scan, and that the only errors are these relevance which is normally should be blocked by robots because they would lead to unending probabilities, by price low to high high to low, by name, a-z or z-a by best selling etc etc and also i attached what happens when i try to inspect a url, it says blocked and when i click live url, everything is PERFECT . which means the only problem is, these relevance which are definitely blocked by the robots.txt and i dont understand what to do. @diegofrancesco
The problem is not those URLs you show in the screenshot, the problem seems to be the domain. Can Home be crawled by the crawler? Are there any URLs blocked in the configuration -> URL Blocking section in Bing Webmaster Tool? Make sure that your website does not replicate content, redirect users quickly, or provide little depth that don’t fare well in our results. Prolonged poor performance can lead to delist websites to make room for quality websites. If your website has been penalized and removed from the index because Bing has found in the past that your website violated their quality guidelines then your site may not appear in search results because it has been penalized. If the issue has been resolved you should continue to contact support as this would be a very complex issue to resolve.
optionsmegastore
long story short, my website had a malware and was hacked and many pages were redirected somewhere, for few days until i discovered it, later on, i upgraded my version of prestashop for better security, and now after everything was set up and good, bing deindexed me, like a month later, which is weird. yes i have blocked some url i found that the hacker used for redirects, it was example.com/products/ , i found it in the section of site explorer in bing, while it doesnt even exist anymore, and while i have no directory which is called "products" so i blocked it. that was all, so do you think the block of example.com/products/ is what affecting it? and the blocked affected the whole domain? though, if you do an audit now, nothing bad is there and everything is just good. @diegofrancesco
I can't see or replicate your Bing Webmaster Tool scans, from partial screens it's hard to understand. I thought it was a domain problem because when I searched on Bing the entire domain is not present. For example, it's not a problem caused by the URLs or errors you entered in the first post. The site was probably penalized and removed manually, the only way you have is through the official Bing support. You have to tell them that the malware is no longer present, that you have updated the CMS version and set up security systems, and consequently ask for it to be unblocked.
