the paypal module comes with PrestaShop does suoport both standard paypal and api paypal.

i also have paypal express chechout module that could let customer get to paypal in a few clicks wiihout input any information like address. no ssl required. and the module willl register customer at your store automaticallly after payment with information from paypal. and many more features that may benefit your business.

you can find more detailed info though the link at my signature.

Technically speaking the Paypal module should be in the section "Payments & Gateways".

If it is not there first you need to look on your server in the Modules folder to make sure the Paypal module is installed (go to modules>paypal). Make sure all the files loaded properly.

If the module was installed correctly try this --

in your BO navigate to modules>
at the top make sure the drop down boxes are set to these options>

'All Modules' > 'Installed & Uninstalled' > 'Enabled & Disabled' > 'All Countries' > then click 'Reset'

This should reset all your modules.

I hope this works.

If you have enabled Cache function for performance purpose, please try to disable it first and see if it is solves the problem. The module list is from cache.

Preference tab - Performance sub tab - Cache (locates at last section of the page)
