how is possible import product in prestashop ?

Is there anyone who can give me some tips on the import? I’ve tried in various ways. I created a simple import file, which I’ve attached. I added it, but as shown in the image, it tells me that the import was done, but it doesn’t verify anything. I’m certain that the ID is available and that the categories are correct. I’ve also tried including the entire chain of categories in this way: 37;1;iPod Nano;home,brands,cagiva,cocis; but it keeps having the same issue. Could someone lend me a hand? Thanks!

You did not create a header for the file so that field matching works, follow the example files.

i try to download  example  and modify  i remove  product id  with  empty sure id   and  change caterories   also with home  or cocis  but retrun me  always  this

Indeed the import in Prestashop is kind of confusing an it is rather weird how it is matching categories by name and not id

the system is really poorly made but I think they only do it to push you to buy yet another module

Hi. Usually I create an import module for this type of task. It's better that the official import and it's more usable and configurable.

Suppose I want to add a product. I enter all the data and upload the image patterns, but how can I determine where the images will be stored in the PrestaShop folders? I noticed, for example, that I have an image here:

The part 37 indicates that the photo is located in www/img/p/3/7. But what does the 3 refer to? And especially, the 7? Can I assign random numbers as long as I reference those numbers in the CSV file? Or do these numbers have to be tied to the product number that is created?

HI, you can not decide where the image is stored. PS has a pattern for storing images and you can not chage it without rewrite the main IMAGE class. And i don't suggest you to do this.

in csv  is possible insert also description SummaryDescriptionTagsMeta titleMeta keywordsMeta description, also for second language ? or i can insert only for first language ?
