LETB
Hello, I have just migrated my client from a Prestashop 1.6 to a PS 8.1.2 in which we imported the old customer accounts. The problem is that they cannot modify their accounts if the "first name" or "last name" fields are not filled in, being that on PS 1.6 this was not obligatory. If I manually enter the first name it works. How can I resolve this issue so customers can edit their account? Thank You.
Prestashop Addict
Hi, you mean they cannot edit their account form?
LETB
Yes absolutely. They cannot save or edit. Unless I fill in the field directly via the db. But it's not sustainable. The client is not autonomous.
Prestashop Addict
Strange, I made a test with empty first and last name in database and I can edit my profile fill first and last name and save wo error!
LETB
Yes but as these are accounts that we imported from version 1.6, it is possible that the bug comes from there.
Prestashop Addict
How did you importe them?
LETB
Import via the module "Migration Pro". But I'm not even sure that it comes from the import because if I put a character in the "first name" field for example via the db it passes.
