nicoledesignstore
Hello, so, as per subject, I am encountering an issue that does not allow customers to register a new address if format - sensitive fields (such as phone number or zip code, are populated by the customer in front office with an action of copy from some place and paste in the interested field. Is there a way to rectufy the data or avoid this issue in general? I work on prestashop 1.7.8.5 Thanks!

Prestashop Addict
It's dependent of your theme CSS/JS. And also Safari has a lot of compatibility troubles 😞
CarloMecan
If you're running into issues with an invalid postcode or phone number when a customer pastes it, it’s likely because the system isn’t recognizing the format. Postcodes sometimes need to follow a strict pattern, so double-check if the spacing or case matters. The system might be expecting a country code or a specific format for phone numbers. One way to troubleshoot is to use a disposable phone number for testing to see if the format is the problem. Sites like disposable phone numbers can help with that. It could also be worth checking for invisible characters in what’s being pasted. A quick fix is manually typing it in to see if it works.
