Prestashop kernel files changes done automatically? Why? How?

Hi,

Since weeks, I can see changes on Prestahop kernel files (controllers, classes, etc.) done at a specific night time (between 3:30 and 3:45 AM) without any intervention on my part.

In ex. the original ./controllers/admin/AdminCustomerThreadsController.php contains

>                         '{reply}' => Tools::nl2br(Tools::getValue('reply_message')),

and after the change, I can found this instruction

<                         '{reply}' => Tools::nl2br(Tools::htmlentitiesUTF8(Tools::getValue('reply_message'))),
 

Can someone explain me why and from where these changes are comming from?

Module "1 click Upgrade" is installed but no action is done manually over the night.

Please can you specify PS, PHP and theme versions

It's quite an old installation:

PHP 7.4
Prestashop 1.6.1.24
JMS_Athena v1.0

But basically, I would need to know if such an automatic kernel update process exists or not (if yes, I would supose it's present in all Prestahop versions).

This is not a valid answer to help you. May be you have a hosting cron task that patches your old version with security hole fixed.

It may be due to auto-updates, if you have complete control over your kernel files, you can disable those updates.
