Hi!

Tired of GA so will start with Matomo. Before I decide about module I have some questions

1. Is many using Matomo Analytics

2. Do you use addon or tracking code

1. Do you have Matomo installed on your own server or how do you connect to it

Ans: Yes both can be used.

Ans: You can install it on your own server or use cloud-based Matomo service.

Thanks but I found out that our email provider also provide matomo accounts. We only need the cheapest so for the same price as your module I get 9 years of an account. I decided to use the tracking code in the header and it works perfect for us.

With a module you can do more than just vistior tracking e.g. intergration of Matomo dashboard directly in your backoffice or order tracking in Matomo. Let me know if you would like to test my module (documentation attached) - I discontinued to sell in Addon Store but can be purchased directly.

All we need I can do. I dont miss anything. Its no problem to go to the matomo server instead of see it in the shop. Still for 1 € per month I can do what we need.
