Order Shipped - Customer email not sending to customer

My website is all working perfectly fine apart from my order shipped email to customers.

I have the shipped email ticked next to shipped on the Orders > Statuses but it still doesnt send the customer an order shipped email when I change an orders status to shipped.

All other emails are working fine.

Can you anyone help me with this?

Check the mail template for shipped in mail/lang_iso directory

All my email are in public_html/mails

Then in the mails folder I have..
en (folder)
es (folder)
fr (folder)
index.php

The shipped.html and shipped.txt files are in each one of the language folders.

Is this correct?

Please check "Send e-mail to customer" for shipped is enabled/disabled from Admin tab Orders->Statuses.

Yes “Send e-mail to customer” for shipped is enabled in the Admin tab Orders->Statuses

The shipped email is also selected, but it still doesnt send an email to the customer when there order status is changed to shipped!

Having the same problem with prestashop 1.6.1.4. cannot link emails (the "shipped" email template). In the translations, its "no subject was found in the database"
