gruis28
Hello everyone I hope I didn't post my question in the wrong section. I have a site created with Zencart (about 1500 products) and I would like to create a new one with PrestaShop. What system do you suggest to migrate my old site to the new PrestaShop? I read that it is possible to export the products from Zencart to a .csv file and then import them into PrestaShop, and in this case is there an example .csv file formatted with the mandatory fields/columns? Is it possible to indicate the position of the product images in the .csv file? I await your suggestions with any pros and cons for each solution indicated. Thanks again @max
Nickz
Hi What is your skill level? You certainly can import parts you just need to know which.
Mediacom87
Hi, to migrate from a CMS to PrestaShop, I think it's best to go through a specialized service so as to retain as much information as possible about your catalog, orders and customers.
gruis28
Hi @Nickz in the past I have always used .csv files to migrate all the info (products, customers, orders) from different cms, I was thinking of doing it this way in this case too. I needed an example .csv template file with all the fields needed to import the products Thanks @Max Hi @Mediacom87 I knew that there were specialized services available for this, but since in the past I have always used .csv files to migrate all the info (products, customers, orders) from different cms, I was thinking of doing it this way in this case too. Thanks for your suggestion @Max

Due to different Modules, different versions the databases are also a little different. Your desired prestashop is version number.....???
