GamerWipes
As the post title says, Im looking for a module to add product variations. There are soo many to choose from, and Ive looked at the live demo of a few of them, but I simply do not have all day to sift through them all one by one. I need a simple module that will allow me to have product sizes and colors. ie: a t-shirt might be available in 4 colors, but then each color will need to have different sizes available. can anyone recommend a good module for that? easy to use and under $99 preferably. Doesnt have to have a ton of features, just the ability to add sie variations to colors. thanks!
Daresh
But this is a standard functionality.

Ive spent weeks adding products and combinations and have not seen that option in the default software. for instance, i have a product (t-shirt) with 6 combinations (colors). how do i then tell the software that for the yellow shirt T have 4x Medium, 6x Large, 10 XL size shirts? Each color combination of the product with have to have different sub-combinations (different sizes available for each color shirt). how do you do that in default prestashop without modules? what am i missing? Daresh
You can generate combinations with many attributes, sizes and colors. Another approach is to create separate products for all the dfifferent colors, and only use combinations for sizes. Then add some module to link the products together, allowing the customer to jump between the colors. We implemented this kind of solution, along with indicating which sizes are available here: https://uniformsy.pl/kolekcja-soft/541-damska-sukienka-medyczna-timi-peach.html

I wonder if there will be a response now. some people are too worried about inflating their post count, and if they get mad, they get mad. what im trying to do is NOT built into the default software. if anyone who actually knows what theyre talking about and genuinely wants to help, rather than inflate their number, feel free to reply
Daresh
When generating combinations, you need to select both color and size. Even a default PrestaShop with demo products has examples for this, products having size / color combinations. https://demo.prestashop.com/
ecommerce16
As Daresh already said. This is a standard function. Simply check all the combinations: Size, color etc. you need and then generate combinations. Maybe not all colors are available in every size, but after yu generated the combinations you can delete the combinations who are not possible. My problem was that I was trying to add sizes to existing products, not realizing you have to add the colors and sizes at the same time for it to work. Thanks again
QuickUpdate.net
We also have generation of product combinations in QuickUpdate (https://addons.prestashop.com/en/fast-mass-updates/45498-quickupdate-pro-the-expert-multitool-for-prestashop.html) You can generate all the combinations with only the attributes you want and how many you want and then update stocks and prices for them in bulk - let us know if it solves your specific use case.
