order confirmation missing

I'm not a Prestashop specialist, i just win a client and I see that the checkout folder in the child them looks like this

while the original folder in the theme looks like this

 

I mean in the "active" theme there'ss no vaild order-confirmation.tpl file

 

Can a prestashop site work correctly like this?

What does the BO say? That is the place your orders should show up.

orders show up in the list 

 

may be i should update subject to order-confirmation.tpl missing

 

in fact my main problem with that site is that

so I'm investigating all folders to try to find such a weird behaviour
