Wrong discount in the chart

I am worried about a error who is making me getting in some problems with customers.

Basically the actual discount show a different amount from the actual discount.

The discount is 5% on only selected products

so 2799.20 5% is 139.96  it is actually correct

but in the details under it show a different amount 174.95

some method of payment does this 2799.20-139.96=2659.24

other method of payment does this 2799.20-174.95=2624.25

i saw similar posts about this problem but it was a bug in older version of prestashop corrected with the more recent version

Have anybody some suggestion or to know where to escalate this bug?

What is your Version? And is it a newly installed shop?

No, the problem is similar but is not the same.  In the cart rule the discount was showing the wrong amount for a different reason, but i am not totally sure about it. As my understanding the fix is already applied in the version i have now. Indeed the fix proposed in GitHub is already present in the file /src/Core/Cart/CartRuleCalculator.php in my website.

What is the core file that manage that section of the cart summary on the bottom? or the section if the file is the same?

3 ore fa, Prestashop Addict dice:

Prestashop has a lot of issues with coupons in % and tax calculation, and since a long time 😞

Do you know the core file that manage that part?

Are they for real? So the problem is spanning in multiple core file, is that right? Moreover they know about this bug? and they didn't fix it?

Sound so ridiculous, is almost funny.

I don't have enough knowledge about prestashop core files to find the code is taking care of the wrong discount percentage, otherwise i will try to fix it by myself. Especially if the error is distributed across multiple core files.
