Can't link Google module with account

Hi all!
Hoping for some help here. 

I'm trying to configure the PrestaShop Marketing with Google module for our website 

The first step is to "Link your store to a PrestaShop account"
I click on Link, log in, verify that the information is OK and hit Accept and associate

I then get the following error:

1 shop could not be linked

 

We were unable to contact your shop. Please visit the Help Center.

"The shop has not been verified. Reason : Shop responds with an incorrect HTTP code"

----

 

Has anyone else run into this issue? Or does anyone know where the problem could be? 
Unfortunately, my technical abilities are somewhat limited and I haven't been able to find any answers here or on any other platform.

Hello to all.

Same problem to me "The shop has not been verified. Reason : Shop responds with an incorrect HTTP code" appears when trying to link my store to my account.

Never managed to solve it. Changed to a different module - Premium Google Tag Manager (off the top of my head). 
Cost a bit, but fast, easy and it works like a charm.
