Anyone testing PHP 8.3 with Prestashop 8.1.7?

I know it says in the docs the PHP 8.1 is preferred. 

Is anyone testing PHP 8.3 on Prestashop 8.1.7?

I'm working with ps 8.1.7 and php 8.2.22 and I have no problems whatsoever, surely with the next version of ps 8.1.8 and later I will update php to 8.3

So, what is your experience? Did you have any issues running the 8.1.7 on PHP 8.2?

I have no problem at all, the site works correctly, with php 8.2 and PS 8.1.7
The only problem I'm experiencing is the inability to remove quantity discounts, I don't know if this is related to PHP 8.2
Regarding php 8.3 I haven't updated yet, because with the new prestashop update module (1clickupgrade) to version 6.2 it blocks the update to prestashop 8.2 because I have php 8.2 instead of 8.1, quite atypical, so I'm waiting for them to solve this problem so I can upgrade to PS 8.2.1 and php 8.3

for some people it is all fun to try to have the newest shop. As a shop selling should be priority.
For the update friendly crew, create a back up before updating gives you some degree of failsafe.

if the official documentation announces precise compatibilities, it's not a whim of the developers or a lack of time, just that we're certain of this data.

Attempting to use other versions of PrestaShop means exposing yourself to problems, since they have not been tested and may, in some cases, cause your store to crash.

PrestaShop version 9 will be compatible with more recent versions of PHP, which will oblige all third-party module developers to adapt their code to be compatible, which is absolutely not the case with PrestaShop 8.

So, no, PrestaShop is neither PHP 8.2 nor 8.3 compatible, and even if you don't encounter any problems using it, there's nothing to prove that others won't have problems.

So stick to the rules - you're under no obligation to switch to the latest versions of PHP.

And those who talk to you about security risks, ask them to hack your site on an old PHP version and wait, because I'm saving you time, they'll never manage it.

Why is Prestashop always so out of step with PHP versions?
Php 8.2 has been out for 2 years and today active support is ending while it is still not supported by Prestashop. Why?

Php 8.2 est sorti depuis 2 ans et Aujourd’hui le support actif s’arrête alors qu’il n’est toujours pas supporté par Prestashop. Pourquoi ?
