catzarov
I use Prestashop ver.1.7.8.11, Paypal offcial module ver: 6.4.0 (latest for this time). PHP Ver: 7.4.33 The module is connected to a peepal and the whole checklist is tick (OK). In PS the base currency is BGN (Bulgarian lev), second currency is EUR (Euro). When I try to place a test order with paypal instead of redirecting me to the paypal site it shows me the following message: Quote Error In Paypal Currency code is not currently supported. Please refer https://developer.paypal.com/docs/integration/direct/rest/currency-codes/ for list of supported currency codes. Try To Pay Again I'm trying to place a test order with both currencies, but no luck. In the paypal account, the bank account that is added and confirmed is for BGN currency, could this be the reason ? Please someone give me some guidance on how to handle this case. The PS installation is brand new, the shop is about a month old.
ZHSoft
PayPal does not support BGN currency, please use EUR currency to place an order for testing.
catzarov
Hello @ZHSoft, I tried to place an order with euros, but the same error! Won't accept payment. Is the bank account a problem that it is in BGN ?
ZHSoft
Could you please send me the URL so I can analyze and troubleshoot the error?
catzarov
Hello @ZHSoft, thank you for your time. link At the moment I have even made the main currency to be EURO, hoping that it will be fine, but even with the main currency EURO and the second currency BGN, the Bulgarian lev, you can not make a payment with paypal. ZHSoft
At this step, I didn't know what to fill in, and I couldn't pass it and couldn't reach the next step, which resulted in the inability to test the payment.
catzarov
This is a module of Bulgarian Courier Company, which by default expects a valid delivery address. Thank you for taking the time for my case study. Strange because the store is brand new,no "illegal" modules in it. And for the first time in 10 years of experience I have with prestashop I encounter such a problem. On other online stores I support, the module is setup the same way and works correctly, but on this one it doesn't want to.
