How can I restore my admin login?  surely prestashop can't go so wrong from merely upgrading modules (these were all stats modules in the first 10 listed in Module Manager )

Thanks for the suggestions and I am sure that's what the issue is.

I decided to do this in the cPanel under the file manager.  But the files showing there are not not those of my current Prestashop installation.  They are from a previous installation as I can see by the admin directory having a different name. The file manager shows my admin directory as admin1904 but my current directory as you can see from the error messages is admin256zkv3bw.

I shall go back to my hosting company and see if i can get access to the right files.

Many thanks, i will update here once I have cleared var/cache/prod and var/cache/dev
