Presta 1.7.8.11 to 8.1.6 - Anyone having issues with PHP 8.2 & 8.3? *Stoppers and/or tricks*

Recommended Posts

I've had a few good stoppers along my cloning journey from 1.7.x to 8.1.x like...

url rewrite & the robots text file, have dogged me, a couple times for an hour or so.
then the damn panda theme wants to be an absolute pain in the arse

It makes me wonder what all the tricks are to reach my journey
is prestools and copyshop_data the solution again? it did get me from 1.6x to 1.7 but I have forgotten how now.
it shouldn't be this hard. I started this site back in the the 1.3.1 days. I will not give up

I have shops running from PS1.6 to 8.1.6. As ps8 branch released I moved to PHP82 and successfully updated all UP`s up to 8.1.6. Also have one testing store PS 8.1.7 but updated only with autoupgrade module modification.

Hmm, but what if I switch PHP version to 8.1, upgrade to v8.2.0 and then I switch my php to 8.2, will it work? Autoupgrade is not very interesting for me, since I do fresh PS v8.2.0 install and then migrate all data from old one.

Thanks

Prestashop 1.6 fork adapted for PHP 7.4 - 8.3. Support PHP 8.3. Continue PS 1.6 development.

No symfony. No twig. No garbage frameworks.

This is real Prestashop.

Object model forever. Go testing...

Something tells me it will be soon all my shops goes back to 1.6 :)
