FolderImpresiones
Hi everyone. I have the following problem, I can't get Prestashop to send any email from my website. Using sendmail as default, no email reaches the test account and on the Backoffice page you only see an endless spinning circle. Setting SMTP parameters manually also does not work. I attach screenshot. My email account is managed through Zoho in its free version. The error message I get every time I run the test is the following “Connection could not be established with host smtp.zoho.com :stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to tcp://smtp.zoho.com:587 (Connection refused)” Zoho support told me they don't see any attempt to connect I use GMAIL to read and send email from my @foler.com.uy accounts without problems. Thank you very much in advance for your help.
Nickz
I would never use 3rd party emails for that reason. You have no power and hardly ever get the info you need should one change a parameter. https://help.zoho.com/portal/en/kb/crm/integrations/zoho/zoho-mail/articles/gmail-crm-integration#Set_up_POP_Account
FolderImpresiones
Hi again, thanks for the ideas! @HazelJack, I couldn't find either in phpmyadmin or in the installed PHP extensions where to configure php mail, I'll retake it after try other fixes. I tried with same configuration on a different hosting (infinityfree) and it worked fine, so I can conclude that the blocking is hosting related. The one that doesn't work is X10. I posted in my hosting forum a topic to see if any administrator can check it out. I'll keep u posted. Thanks!
FolderImpresiones
It seems like x10hsting only allow localhost, thats what a forum member told me. I'm still waiting for an admin to confirm that.
