Prestashop Addict
Do not work is not explicit, can you indicate error message or warning. (French speaking/writing 😉)

Prestashop Addict
This is a timeout error from your server. Check if you can change default php timeout in your hosting environment.
hamid reza
Yes I can change php timeout, but question is, how much I have add it? Because chat gpt sans 30, do you think is OK?
Prestashop Addict
Default php timeout is 30 seconds (max_execution_time), try with 2 minutes (depends on your server performances)

ComGrafPL
1-click isnt best for major updates. Is good for updates lik 1.7.8.9 -> 1.7.8.11, not for 1.7 - > 8.1. If i were you i would install clean 8.1.6, install modules, theme and migrate the data base. On 1.7.6.8 your theme or some of the modules could not work well on version 8.1

Anyway, apart what I have explained, how should we proceed on?

ComGrafPL
No saying it cant be done. But upgrading major releases sometimes gives you pain related to theme, modules from old version. I would use 1-click direct upgrade module. But it isnt free, good if your plan more then one upgrade, more stores.
