AcidLava
Hello, Following an update of Prestashop to version 8.1 using an archive and .xml file, the site has switched entirely to English. I updated the French language, which fixed the issue for the back-office, but the transactional emails remain in English. Is it possible to switch them back to French without having to translate everything manually? Thank you.
AddWeb Solution
Hi, Navigate to International > Translations. In the "Modify translations" section, select "Email templates translations" from the drop-down menu. Select "French" as the language. Select your theme (usually the active theme of your shop). Click on the "Modify" button. Review the email templates to ensure they are correctly translated. Prestashop should use the language pack to update the email templates to French automatically. If some emails are still in English, check the specific templates and see if they need manual adjustment. Then Clear the cache and check if it works. I hope this would help. Thanks! Thanks! @AcidLava Yes, this suggestion is correct. Your problem is that the email language package is not fully translated. The solution is to confirm each translation one by one. If it is not translated into French, translate it manually.
