very high number of customer login attempts: very likely hacking attempts

Dear all,
I run prestashop 8.0.5, box standard
If I look at my most used URLs the shop/gb/login shows over 16000 hits a month. The Dutch version is just onder 16000 hits. So it seems that somebody is trying to brute force their way into customers accounts. 

1. Is there a way to reduce this number / prevent this from happening? Due to the nature of my business few people make a recurring purchase, so not much need for customer accounts.
2. Is it a good idea to remove the login link in the footer from my site to prevent bots scanning for these links?

Or is this just part of modern internet life and I shouldn't worry about it?

Shared, my mistake. But since the latest update of PrestaShop it runs very smooth. 

@ComGrafPL : Thanks, I have changed my robots.txt and will let you know what happened.
