PrestaShop 1.7.8.7 cannot link my PayPal Account to Prestashop Checkout after module update

Hi there,

I was using Prestashop Checkout on my shop (www.jollyrogerbay.it) and everything was working fine, I updated the module to the latest version working with my version of prestashop (1.7.8.7) and It stopped to take payments, it was unable to find the linked paypal account, so I went into the module configuration and I was getting an error ("An Error Occour, please refresh, if the problem continue please contact our support team) in the page where I had to link my PrestaShop accoount, after that page there was the PayPal linking page, always with the error of above and then the button that allows you to link the paypal account, was loading infinitely and never showed.

Then I turned down the linking of the shop and tried to link my shop again, now I don't get any error anymore but I remain stucked in this page where I can only link or unlink mmy shop, but cannot go further to the page where I can link my paypal account so with the module not configured I cannot take payments

I kindly inform you that you've written to the thread dedicated to Prestashop Partners modules.

However, Prestashop Checkout is a native Prestashop module and is not connected to our Paypal Official module.

il modulo paypal non finalizza i pagamenti. il carrello rimane aperto senza chiudere l'ordine anche se su paypal il pagamento risulta effettuato. stesso discorso per la variante paga in tre rate. il problema ha cominciato a presentarsi dal 20 giugno 2024

We can't do anything to solve the problem, I've fixed it only by opening a ticket, installing the Prestashop Remote Assistance Module and wait them to solve the problem. My account went broken for some reason and all the Prestashop Moduels that requires a PrestaShop Account stopped to work. If you have this problem the only solution is opening a ticket, give prestashop assistance back office and ftp access and wait them to solve the problem. For me it took some days

Ti rispondo in inglese, così anche gli altri possono capire:

Your symptoms are the same as mine and probbably means that your prestashop account, for some reason, went broken. To check this, please, try configure the prestashop google marketing module, it should not allow you to proceed furter. The Checkout module should result as linked but it's not really linked since the account is broken and so the payments doesn't work. Same problem as mine if it results that none of the official modules that requires a prestashop account are working. The only solution is opening a ticket with the prestashop assistance, give them backoffice and ftp access and wait them to resolve the issue. IF the prolem is this, don't do my error: to create a new prestashop account, It won't solve the problem, wait them to fix your current one

ti ringrazio per i suggerimenti ma non credo che questo sia il problema o comunque non è solo questo.

Ho già aperto il ticket ma non mi sembra che i tecnici di Prestashop abbiano in mano la situazione.

il problema principale credo sia dovuto all'attivazione di Cloudflare, anche se per 20 giorni tutto ha funzionato perfettamente e solo dal 20 giugno si è presentato.

disattivato cloudflare i pagamenti riprendono a funzionare sia pure con un errore nel carrello:

Frontcontroller::init - Il carrello non può essere caricato o è già stato effettuato un ordine utilizzando questo carrello.

mi chiedo se ci siano dei DNS da inserire su cloudflare per consentire l'accesso del modulo paypal.

oggi con cloudflare attivo il modulo non funziona
