thebirdbath
The site is working and I'm getting sales. The only problem is the orders coming through don't show what products the customer ordered. There is no product name or size info. All the other information is there. Shouldn't the product name and other order info be on the order?Screenshot attached. tomerg3
This is usually caused by a mismatch between the order class and the orderdetails database table.Did you do an upgrade of the shop, or made any changes to the database?
thebirdbath
No this is a new install. We started this from scratch. Template purchased from Template monster and installed by them as well. Then we just edited the template to fit the needs of the client.Any suggestions on how to fix?
thebirdbath
No one? Can anyone tell me why product information is not listed in the orders? See screenshot above.
tomerg3
It's hard to tell without taking a closer look, but as I said, it's usually because of a mismatch between a class file and a database table. In the meanwhile, you can look up the items using the cart ID (92 in this case) in Customers->Carts.You can try to open a bug report about his, or if you have a developer you use, ask them to check out the database structure and make sure it matches that of a fresh install of the same PS version, if those are the same, then make sure the classes match the original files from the same PS installation. thebirdbath
Not even in carts does it show the product. Weird huh? Does this give any ideas of a solution? Picture attached.I'm the only developer working on the site. I'm more of a designer and not a MySql guy. I'm familiar with phpMyAdmin so if you have some thoughts on what I should look for in there I can poke around. Most ecommerce shops I set up don't require me to get too deep into the MySql. Asenar
Hi thebirdbathDid you opened a bug report in the forge ? Could you please give here a link to it ?
thebirdbath
I will submit a bug report. Thanks. So I guess I'm stuck huh?
tomerg3
The team has been responding to bug reports very quickly lately, so I think they will help you resolve the issue quite fast.Your other option is to hire a developer to resolve it for you, which will probably be quicker, but with a cost... thebirdbath
I can't post an issue in the forge because it says Version 1.3.2.3 is not valid. They installed Version 1.3.2.3 because that is the version of the template. Is there anyway to get your "team" to still look into the bug. Perhaps template monster should not still be selling these templates. Please advise.
tomerg3
it's not my team, it's the Prestashop team.I don't believe they would look into it as it's an old version, and they are currently working on fixing issues in the latest version of PS.
thebirdbath
Well this sucks...what do I tell the client? Prestashop should warn users to NOT purchase templates from templatemonster.com. They don't work! How do I hire a prestashop developer to look into the matter? I'd have to ask the client if he is willing to pay to fix the issue. tomerg3
I don't think this has anything to do with your theme. You can try the jobs and offers section for a developer.
swally
Hi I'm having the same basic problem. When you're in the Orders area and click on the View icon, under Order Details you can click on the cart number to get to the correct cart directly; however, it doesn't show anything generated from combinations either ... so I have been looking at the product name and the price then figuring out which size they must have been ordering -- if the prices were the same for different sizes/colors, I don't know what I'd do. Surely someone else works or has worked with v 1.3.2.3 and worked through this issue .... ?
jhnstcks
The order was paid using Paypal, are the order details passed on to them?

You can go to sites like scriptlance.com to find people to fix / do things. And you can find quite cheap deals there.
