Issue with Orders and Customer Backing out of Payment Option

Hi,

Using PrestShop 1.7.8.11 I have noticed a bug where a customer can submit an order - get to payment pay, decide they want to change the payment method (e.g. from Credit Card to Bank Transfer) and the order is then added as ordered without the new payment option being taken.

 

For example, I order £15 worht of items, choose Credit Card, decide I want to go back to Bank Transfer - it then marks the order as completed and ready to pick & ship without the customer seeing the bank transfer option.

Is there a way to set the workflow to allow the user to back up to payment option selection without it completing the order?
