Hi, i have installed Version 8.1.5 and if i make a simple change eg change the banner image on the default slider template, nothing changes on the homepage. If i swap any images nothing updates at all. The smart cache is turned off. I tried on multiple browsers. Its clearly an issue with Prestashop. I had this issue with version 8.1.3 also, which is why i upgraded. What is causing this if the cache is not even on???????

Hi
Ensure that you're modifying the correct settings within your theme. PrestaShop themes often have dedicated sections or modules for managing homepage sliders
Double-check that the new banner image you uploaded is properly uploaded to the correct directory in your PrestaShop installation.

You can use browser developer tools to inspect the HTML and CSS of your homepage to identify if there is any other issues

Hi,

  • Even though you mentioned the smart cache is turned off, there might still be residual cache affecting the display. You can manually clear the cache through Prestashop's back office or directly delete cache files from the server.
  • Check that the changes you made are indeed applied to the correct theme files. Sometimes, changes made to theme files might not reflect if there's an override from a child theme or a different theme altogether.
  • Check if the files you are editing have the correct permissions set.
  • Enable Prestashop's debug mode to see if there are any error messages or warnings that could indicate what's going wrong.

Hope this would help.

Thanks
