madmartian Posted April 13 Share Posted April 13 I am the victim of an online extortion scam related to ratings on Google Maps. Someone I have not done business with left me a one-star review - no review text - and now I am getting frequent emails offering to remove that rating for a fee. I have contacted Google twice trying to get the rating removed without any luck. I only do business online - I do not have a physical store, but for some reason (that I don't remember) Google required a mailing address for the business, which is my house.
