it_promopresent
Hello everyone! I'm writting you to find out if there's any way to prevent customers from certain customer group using a voucher. I've created a custom module where i create new customers. The thing is that i need to prevent those customers to use any Voucher in my shop. I tried to assign those customers to a custom customer group, but due to they also remain into any of the default customer group, they still can use Vouchers. How can I achieve this? Thank you for any clue that you can bring me!^^
WebDesk Solution
Hello @it_promopresent, To prevent customers from a specific customer group from using any vouchers, please follow the steps below:Create a Separate Customer Group: First, create a separate customer group in the PrestaShop back office. You can refer to this screenshot for guidance: Screenshot.Create a New Customer: Next, create a new customer in the PrestaShop back office and assign them to the newly created customer group. For reference, see this screenshot: Screenshot.Add Restriction to Voucher: When creating a voucher in the PrestaShop store, add a condition to restrict its use by the specified customer group. Please review this screenshot for guidance: Screenshot.Verify Voucher Restriction: To verify that the customer cannot use the voucher, go to the front-end store, log in with the newly created customer account, add a product to the cart, and attempt to apply the voucher on the cart page. Refer to this screenshot for your reference: Screenshot.
