[Solved] Unable to change theme

Hello

Something that sounds quite simple but is causing me to pull my hair out!! I have just installed Prestashop and have been busy personalising it (www.selleriestpierre.com). I installed the prestashop_alt theme but when I saw it up on screen decided to go back to the original prestashop base theme - but I can't!! I click the button and save but nothing changes!

I've tried deleting the prestashop_alt theme files via filezilla but permission denied. Not even allowed to change file permissions. I've left server to stew for an hour or two thinking that there may be heavy traffic but nothing.

Help - I don't have much hair left!!

I am not sure if this will help, I had a similar problem.

I had to disable the shop, then change the themes, then re-enable the shop again from the preferences page?
