Why are current versions of PS no available as an upgrade option within PS admin dashboard ??

Why are current versions of PS not available as an upgrade option within PS admin dashboard ??

I am working on PS v 8.0.4 which was released in May 23

There has been 5 versions of updates to the latest being v8.1.4 released Feb 24

But on the admin dashboard there no new version to upgrade to. Are there too many bugs in those 5 releases to make them reliable working releases.

Any advice please.

Do you have 1-click upgrade module enabled? I think that module showing info on dashboard.

My mistake I should have said after running 1-click upgrade, it only says PS v 8.0.4 is the current version, and there is a minor version 8.0.5 as an update.

Strange but 8.0.5 does not appear in the upgrade list at https://prestashop.com/versions/

Are the other versions not stable enough for a production site ??.

Or should I upgrade to 8.0.5 hoping that it says the next upgrade is 8.1.0 etc etc.

Or should I just go for 8.1.4
