Log IP address in user regsitration

Is the IP address logged when a user registers? if so how do I get it simply?

Each time user is login to shop his IP is stored, you can go to Customer > click on any customer and there should be section like: Last Connection.

That is not what I asked for... at user registration the user is not yet a customer until they verify their email. I need the IP at user registration. 

Also I dont see what you said above "Last Connection"

Registration always ends by first login to shop so maybe this is what you was asking for.

Let me explain further. Every hour or so I'm getting spammed by a bot trying to register with email addresses that don't exist. The first logon only happens when they verify their email. So for example the below log was such a spam bot .. This user doesn't exist in customers. 

 

So I need to see the IP when this email verification is sent.

I assume you have module that try protect your store by sending email verification message, but what you get is more spams because this module don't protect your store at all. You should try protect register form in that way that spam user cannot create account at all.

 

If user is not logged his IP you can check in server logs.

email verification is standard in prestashop. And I have Google Recpatcha enabled which is working...

Yes I have asked my ISP for the server logs.

BTW I found a manual way... I got my ISP to send me the logs and I cross referenced them with the presta log ..
