[SOLVED] Meta Pixel not detected despite being placed on head.tpl

Hello all,

in PS 1.7.6.1 I'm having trouble to add a Meta Pixel. I edited the file

/var/www/shop_name/themes/current_theme/templates/_partials/head.tpl

to include all the code Meta provided. I also wrapped it with

{literal}{/literal}

I tried several things like not using "literal" which broke the page, so I'm 100% sure this is the right "head.tpl" file.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Tried placing the content on top, middle and bottom of the file. Tried removing the HTML comment "<!-- Meta Pixel Code -->". Nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SOLVED

So everything was setup fine, the problem I faced was that my browser had an inbuilt adblocker. When I whitelisted both facebook and my website it worked perfectly. I hope this can help anyone facing similar issues.
