Same issue here. Tried 1.8.3 and 1.8.4 on WAMP 3.2.8 with apache 2.4.46 and php versions 8.1.6, 7.4.27, 7.3.21
On my laptop I've same issue. Always error 500 on theme installation.
Couldn't find any answer online so far
