Module stuck in previous version

Hello ,

I'm working on a module , I had to change something in the code and when I uninstalled the module and reuploaded the updated one ( same name , etc..) I noticed I was getting the same results as the older version.

I changed the author name and version number ( for testing purposes ) and reuploaded the updated module but when I look for it in the module manager I saw the previous version number and author name 

when I change the module name (making it look like I'm uplaoding a new module ) the information is correct in the module manager 

I deleted the cache and everything and it's still the same issue. 

I know I can change the module name and upload the "new module"  but I also would like to know why is it happening and is there a solution for this or not ?
